Elsa Benitez is a Mexican born supermodel and television host.

Elsa Benitez is a Mexican born supermodel, television host and mother to her beautiful daughter Mila. She lends her support to several charities including AMFAR, Make‐A‐Wish Foundation, Happy Hearts Fund and Seven Bar Foundation. She graced the cover of GQ Mexico in 2012 to support her role as the host of Mexico’s next top model which she held from its debut in 2009 thru 2012 and is broadcast in twenty Latin American countries.

Elsa was discovered in 1995 at a model search competition and her career took off when she moved to Miami and became the muse of famed fashion photographer Steven Meisel. Elsa landed a coveted spot in Vogue Italia and subsequently graced the cover for three consecutive issues. She was catapulted to international fame and became a household name when she appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 2001 along with features inside several other issues of the magazine. In 2014 she was featured in the Sports Illustrated Legends issue as one of their legendary supermodels. She went on to work for such clients as Cover Girl, Victoria’s Secret, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, Valentino, Versace, Fendi, Christian Dior, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta and many others. You have seen her face on the covers of magazine such as Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, V Magazine and GQ.
